Feasibility
Feasibility
Runge provides advice to a range of mining and related-services firms on the viability and associated risks of projects by conducting:
Pre-feasibility studies
Is the project worth pursuing further? If so what are the primary focus elements?
Pre-feasibility studies are designed to provide a high level assessment of the viability of a deposit. The main aim of this study is to provide a value of the potential project and
determine the key business drivers.

Bankable feasibility studies
Bankable feasibility studies are undertaken to optimise value and minimise technical risks. Studies of this type cover data acquisition, through detailed mine design, to the production of operating and cost schedules and financial analysis. The use of well established and systematic mine planning procedures enables more detailed studies to be undertaken in the same or less time and at lower cost than the alternative, labour-intensive, less systematic methods. More alternatives can be assessed - ensuring decisions are made with less risk and there is a higher probability of achieving targeted profitability levels. Working documents and calculations are compiled during the project to ensure easy access for a third party audit.

Due diligence audits
Runge provides strategic consulting services in the areas of operating mines, reserve estimates, feasibility studies, and investment reports to check technical viability, provide investment guidelines, or improve efficiency. We differentiate between factors likely to impact on costs or risk, and factors likely to influence the implementation of a plan and confidently recommend project commencement.
