FACETS
FACETS (Face Time Simulator) is a stand alone software system which optimises the longwall face configuration and cutting cycle process. This is a longwall planning and scheduling tool.
Optimisation is achieved by identifying equipment capacity constraints and possible bottlenecks in the face cutting sequence. It is able to model face cycle steps and components providing the flexibility for users to rapidly optimize the face configuration and determine ongoing productivity.
